The rain really helped with my stitching time yesterday. I went out and picked the tomatoes but that took maybe 10 minutes and that’s all the time I spent in the garden so that was extra stitching time.
This is where I had stopped on Tuesday night.
This is where I am now.
I’m not even sure what those things are that look like rocks on both sides of the house – maybe just a pile of dirt?? There’s some kind of berry looking fine growing out of them and there will be birds eating the berries (or sitting on the vine looking like they want to eat the berries). I extended the vine on the right “thing” and stitched the outline of the left one and kept stitching til I ran out of thread.
I stitched more of the flowers – the bottom part of them is finished all the way across the bottom and I got the tops on four of them on the right side. Also, I stitched the letters E – L. I ended up stitching 468 stitches yesterday.
Today I think I’ll finish the alphabet. If I have more time, I may start the basket on top of the roof.
The flowers and leaves all the way around the border are easy – no counting and not much attention required to stitch those. Same with filling in the house. There are still a lot of satin stitches to make up towards the top. I think those should be pretty mindless.
We’ll see . . you never know what I might do today. I might even put this one down and get back to working on a different WIP.
