I am making a bit of progress. After working on Friends & Family through July 8 and started back on Rejoice Evermore on the 9th. My goal is to stitch at least 300 stitches every day and, while I didn’t get 300 stitches in every day, my average for the past five days is a bit over 300. I want to do better and for sure I will once the garden isn’t quite so much work.
My goal, as far as stitching this piece, has been to get the house outlined so I can work on filling in the house, the door and the roof while at my stitching group meetings. Tonight I plan to finish the green/gray stitching in the windows.
The door is kinda pink, the house is reddish pink the “curtains” in the windows are a cream colored.
I can’t wait to get those pinks stitched. I’ll be able to sit and stitch without having to count. Once I’ve finished the windows on this one, I’ll probably get the birds outlined so I’ll have more fill in stitches to do when I don’t want to have to count. Otherwise, there’s the border to be filled in, the ABCs to finish . . and plenty of other stitching.
I don’t have a target date for finishing this but I would love to finish it before the end of the year.
