When I was a young girl, 6 – 8 probably, I loved playing school and being the teacher. I would take a bath towel and wrap it around my waist and pin it and that was my skirt. I guess I just used any old shirt. I would walk around in mom’s high heel shoes and be the teacher!
I got this big stapler this week and every time I see it, I think about being a child and playing teacher. I had asked Vince if he had a stapler like this because he has everything but he didn’t have one. I have to take some of the stitching booklets completely apart to get them super flat and straight to copy them to a PDF document that I can line up perfectly to work in the Markup App. My plan had been to remove the staples, copy the books, and just keep them together in a stack and some day, when I had half a dozen or so to be restapled, I would take them to Office Depot or one of the local copy shops and get them done.
Vince ended up finding this one on eBay for less than $10 so he got it.
Seeing it makes me smile – funny how such silly little things are funny.

“My plan had been to remove the staples….” is what I think you meant to type. I’ve often wondered how to replace the staples in the center of a booklet. Thanks for showing this one!

i would come home from school and line up chairs and stuffed animals on the front porch and teach them. later i was a teachers assistant in high school and then a teacher of severly/ profoundly handicapped kids.

I guess you had very well educated stuffed animals! That’s so cute.
