Last night I got a bit more stitching done on this project.
I had started the bottom horizontal row on the left side and I usually work right to left so I started the other side of that row last night and started thinking . . this is not going to be good if these two lines don’t match up. I counted and re-counted several times because it kinda looked off a bit but it met up.
I did get a few more satin stitches done. It was still dark when I took this photo and the stitching light was on so that blows the colors out. They aren’t really as light as they look. I stitched part of that half star below the satin stitches, the additional satin stitches, and finished that bottom horizontal row.
Here’s something funny. I was using Pattern Keeper when I started this project so Tuesday, I set it all up in Markup, spent quite a bit of time marking all the stitches I had already made. I only marked them in the app – didn’t stitch but a few stitches and the app shows that I stitched 4,674 stitches on Tuesday because it didn’t know I wasn’t stitching, just marking them as stitched. The app bases the estimated completion date on the number of stitches that have been entered and the number of days it took to get that many stitches made, right now it thinks I will finish this project on July 5. In my dreams!! Yesterday I stitched 451 stitches.

Wow! That illusion of “being off” is so real!!! Crazy how our mind works.
The PATIENCE you have for all this stitching – love love love.
And July 5th sounds like a GREAT goal to smash! LOL
