Oscar & Cooper

These two boys – I can’t even remember what it was like before Oscar and Cooper. They crack me up. Oscar is so serious and it seems like he thinks and re-thinks everything. Vince feels bad for him and is always saying “Oscar has the weight of the world on his shoulders!” I think he kinda has sad eyes and the only thing he really thinks about is food! I bet there’s a book or study somewhere about interpreting how your pet feels or what he’s thinking. I’d rather cross stitch! 🙂

Cooper, on the other hand – he reminds me of a silly girl. Vince says “Cooper is such a goofball!” Cooper’s favorite position for sleeping is on his back with all four legs up in the air. Sometimes one leg will be off in a weird direction. He sleeps on his back during the night too. All of my dachshunds have liked to curl up under a blanket to sleep. Cooper doesn’t want to be under anything and only wants to sleep on his back.

I had to get up to go do something last night and they both ended up positioning themselves so there was no way I could sit down without moving at least one of them. Oscar seems to be thinking . . I know you’re there but if I don’t acknowledge your presence, you can’t make me move. I’m not sure what Cooper is thinking. He’s looking at me but pretending he isn’t.

These two surely make our lives more fun!
