Oscar and Cooper . . it continues. They play/fight and they get tired, snuggle up together and sleep, wake up, play/fight, get tired . . it goes on all day.

Yesterday afternoon they were both so tired. Oscar was actually getting quite grumpy with Cooper. You can see they kinda have their front paws like they’re hugging but Oscar is showing his teeth; you can see Cooper’s teeth but he was trying to bite Oscar. I think Oscar seriously wanted Cooper to leave him alone so he could sleep.

Five minutes later, they were both asleep, as close as they could get to each other!
Oscar is usually on my lap but yesterday he was sleeping next to me on the sofa. Cooper lost him . . he looked up and Oscar wasn’t where he was supposed to be. Cooper took off down the hall looking for him and couldn’t find Oscar anywhere. I could see that Cooper was concerned so I said “Come see Oscar!” I’m sure he didn’t know what I meant but he came to me and then he noticed Oscar. Cooper jumped up on the sofa and, because of where Oscar was sitting next to me, there was no spot for Cooper so he just stretched out on top of Oscar and they both slept that way for a while. Cooper seemed genuinely concerned that he had lost Oscar! I’m not sure Oscar would be so concerned if he lost Cooper . . who is really such a pest to Oscar.

Sounds just like siblings to me!

They are really just too cute together. We just adopted two kittens. A brother and sister from the same litter. They are the same. They wrestle all the time but do everything together. If one of them is alone, they tear around the house looking for the other. But they’re so cute snuggled together! In this pair, the girl, Fern, is the instigator and and the boy, Hobbes, is the calm one. And yes, now our kitty count is up to six! ?

Kittens are so cute when playing. How did your other cats react to the new ones?

They weren’t happy for a few days, but they’ve all settled in now. If the kittens get too feisty with them, a quick swat puts them in their place!
