We do not have good luck with appliance delivery so, while I should be happy that Home Depot is replacing the new fridge that we’ve had 10 days, I’m a bit nervous – hoping the delivery goes better than any of our recent deliveries.
When the new fridge was delivered last week, we had paid the .01 (yes, one cent) charge to have the fridge doors switched to open from the right to the left side. I’m not even going to venture a guess as to whether the guys were new or not paying attention but they took the doors off, put them back on, took them on and off three times and they still aren’t right. The repairman came out today and he said there were apparently parts they left off (Vince found two washers). He said the doors weren’t meant to be taken off and on multiple times – it was a once and done type thing and with as many times as they took them on and off and with parts missing and it being a new fridge, he wants it replaced.
I’m not even going to complain about having to take everything out of the fridge and freezer again . . just happy to be getting it resolved.
