Vince brought home a pickup load of “stuff” from the storage building yesterday morning. He said two of the boxes were mine and one was full of brown fabric. It was . . a big box full of brown quilting fabric. I got that unpacked and on the shelf in the sewing room.
The next box had some treasures!
I don’t even know when I bought these or where I bought them or why I bought them. I think I started working on Pumpkin Dance years ago. I don’t even know if I finished it and I have no idea where it is.
These little kits came with everything needed – a chalk pencil for marking, all the wool, the floss, the pattern.
Every time I go out of town for a while (like Louisiana a couple of weeks ago), I wish I knew where these little kits were because they would be perfect for grabbing and taking with me – no prep work! Now I know where they are!
The other thing I found was this little collection of needle books.
I don’t know how long I’ve had these but I hoped I would find them some day. They aren’t valuable but I’m glad to have them again.

I love finding those treasures that have been packed away. We have a storage unit and I’m usually excited when we go to get more stuff and find one of those special boxes that has something wonderful (as opposed to those things that I wonder why we kept them, LOL).

Right! We find way more that we wonder why kept it. I’m thankful the storage units have a dumpster.
