I promise . . no more dog pictures for at least a week!
Last night I was stitching and the dogs were sleeping. Cooper had his head right up under my stitching frame, sleeping on his back as he loves to do. I don’t know if he was having a dream or what but he kept opening his eyes and all I could see were the whites of the eyes.
I could not stop laughing at him. You can blame Cooper if you’re tired of the dog pictures. If he wasn’t so cute, I wouldn’t take so many pictures of him! 🙂
Look at Oscar sleeping like a normal dog and Cooper on his back. I wonder if he’s going to grow out of that or if it’s something he’ll always do.

My rat terrier, Juno, sleeps like that sometimes. My favorite thins that she does is when she sleeps on her side and covers her nose with her paws. When she’s awake, she’ll lay on her stomach and cross her front paws like a little lady. Please don’t stop the dog posts. They are so cute!

One of my doxies, who’s 10, sleeps on his back some, not all the time but a lot. The other two prefer to sleep on their sides and likes to cuddle, where the back sleeper doesn’t. The oldest doxie, who’s 11, loves to sleep under blankets or throw, where the other 2 don’t. All 3 have very different personalities and are loving and keeps you company. The oldest one has taken on the role of service dog. If my husband leaves his chair or heads outside, she barks or comes to find me. My husband was diagnosed with dementia and they watch after him if I’m not around.

That’s so sweet that your oldest helps care for your husband. I could see Oscar doing something like that. Oscar gets so concerned when he doesn’t know where Cooper is. That’s funny that 2 of your 3 don’t like to sleep under the covers. My previous two and Oscar sleep under the covers and Cooper will not.

Love the dog photos and stories – Cooper looks like my Barney who passed last year so I love the good thoughts when I see him.

Love the pictures! They’re adorable. Our greys slept that a lot – maybe it’s a “hound” thing?

Judy, they are so adorable – keep up with the dog pictures! My Pekingese sleeps on her back a lot with her paws up – so cute! I’ve heard when they expose their belly they feel very comfortable and safe in their surroundings, so I’m not surprised Cooper sleeps like that – he has a very loving home. o:)

Thank you. I do think they’re quite adorable. I hope they’re both happy and satisfied. We do love them both.

More dog photos please!!!!!! Neuschie sleeps on his back also. Exposing their bellies is a sign of trust, complete contentment and peace. Now that belly ain’t gonna skritch itself so give it a good rub. Love the pup photos.
