A friend and I had both bought this chart and had planned to stitch it together but I’ve gotten so behind on finishing projects that I couldn’t start any more til I finished something and could take it off the frame. Yesterday my friend asked me if I wanted to start No Bees No Honey by Birds of a Feather. I went to my spreadsheet and found that this chart was in the “Kits 1” bin. I pulled it out and found that I had the chart and fabric but no floss.
I have floss here so that’s not a problem. If I don’t have the exact color needed, I’ll substitute colors if needed.
Because I like to stitch as much as I can on one piece of linen, there’s going to be room at the bottom of Faith, Hope, Piece and Love.
This shows the piece of linen I had chosen to stitch No Bees on, and it’s on the piece I’m using for Faith, Hope, Peace and Love (Athos by Tropical Stitches). They are plenty close enough in color that I think Athos will be just perfect and I love stitching on Tropical Stitches’ linens.
The cross stitch calculator tells me this piece is going to have a stitched area of 6-3/8″ x 5-5/8″ and my fabric should be at least 10-1/2″ wide and 9-1/2″ long. The leftover piece of Athos will be about 17″ x 16″ so even after stitching No Bees, I’ll still have room for other small pieces on the Athos linen.

I may be organized in some aspects of my life but others . . definitely NOT. I try and my goal is to be totally organized in every way but I am not there yet. And, if I had to guess, at this age, I may be as organized as I’ll ever get.
Thank you for the comment. That does make me feel better about my disorganization.
