I could measure (or try to measure) both dogs and see how long they are but, to me, Cooper looks SO much longer than Oscar. It may be because Oscar is quite a bit wider than Oscar. (Don’t tell Oscar I said that!) but sometimes, I look at Cooper and have to do a double take to see if he’s really as long as he looks.
Even though he’s just nine months old, he’s definitely into the terrible two stage. I just looked up and Oscar was trying to get away. Cooper had Oscar’s entire ear in his mouth. Poor Oscar. He’s such a good sport. I know it has to hurt. Cooper is now in the crate so Oscar can relax without having to keep both eyes on Cooper.
I’m at that stage with Cooper where I say I’ll never get another puppy. I know we won’t because of our age and because we don’t need, nor can we afford another dog but I do know that in two or three years, I’ll be missing having a puppy but . . no more dogs for us.

I’m so glad you have them. We’re still trying to adapt to not having Bubba. Thank you for sharing them with us.

I know it’s hard for y’all. I think about you every day when I’m playing with these two or disciplining them, or cleaning up something Cooper has destroyed.

Thank you.

We sure do miss having dogs, but it wouldn’t be fair to us or to a puppy to get one…we would love to rescue an older dog, but first we have to have a fenced in area….not sure if that will ever happen though. Our last three dogs were all rescues.

I’m hoping we outlive these two. I would surely hate for Oscar to have to go live with someone else. That would be super hard for him I think. I feel like Chad would take them but, especially Oscar is a lot to handle. Chad takes care of his dogs but they don’t rule the roost like these two do and .. well, let’s just hope we’re around as long as they are.
