My garden is mostly planted and what isn’t planted, the seeds are started.
There are about 65 tomato plants started, though not all in this picture. I think there are over 50 pepper plants started. I’m afraid to count them! 🙂
In the raised beds, I have garlic, that will come out in June and I’ll plant beans in those beds. I have asparagus that will stay where it is forever, as well as walking onions and horseradish. In one raised bed and in 12 – 30 gallon bags, I have potatoes. Also in grow bags are purple onions, broccoli and Brussels sprouts.
The tomatoes will go in 5 gallon buckets and 7 gallon grow bags. The peppers will go in 5 gallon grow bags, maybe some 3 gallon grow bags.
Otherwise, I’ve been canning roast, ground beef and pork butts to get them out of the freezer.
Not much cross stitching happening . . not much happening worth posting about . . that’s about it – gardening and canning.

Do you drill holes in the bottom of your 5 gal bucket?
BTW..my Mom and Dad were both from Greenfield,Mo I was shocked when you said you could move there..guess I need to go back and look at the town again!

That’s funny that you even know where Greenfield is. It probably hasn’t changed in years. The only reason I want to move there is that it’s about the closest place we can get to Chad where we can have a well. It’s about the same distance to them as we are now (about 45 minutes). I prefer the country towns with less traffic and activity so . . Greenfield isn’t for everyone but it is funny that the dental hygienist wants to move there; a blog friend already has a place there and will be moving soon and someone else had wanted to move there.
On the buckets, yes, Vince will drill four or five holes in the bottom of the buckets that I’m using for planting.
