Every day Oscar seems to get a bit more patient with Cooper. I wonder if Oscar knows what a happy, sweet little guy Cooper is. I wonder if Oscar knows what a grumpy dog he is! When Cooper decides he’s going to do something, he doesn’t stop til it happens.
Oscar was sleeping next to me and Cooper wanted to be on the sofa with him. Oscar kept growling and snapping at him. Cooper seems to stop and weigh it all out . . is getting up on the sofa with them work the risk of getting bit by Oscar? I don’t know if Cooper’s persistence wears Oscar down or if he decides it wouldn’t be so bad having Cooper on the sofa with him.
Cooper started out on the arm of the sofa . . mostly on the arm. His back quarter is on top of Oscar.
He wanted to be a bit closer so he ended up with his head on Oscar’s back but at least he wasn’t completely on top of Oscar.
Cooper just needed to get a little closer . . get his head by Oscar’s head! They’ve been sleeping with both of them in that position for over an hour. I don’t want to move and disturb them but I’m either going to have to get back to my stitching or I’m going to fall asleep sitting here watching them.
I’m so happy with Oscar’s patience with Cooper.

..Cooper is so handsome! We’re (I’m) getting ready to find a buddy for Bugsy. I would love a dachshund that looks like Cooper.
