Last night I finished the church!
This is the cover picture:
I still have leaves to do on the tree on the left. I still have all the leaves to do on the tree on the right, as well as the flower and the blue star, as well as a few of the “black “doodads” to stitch. Then . . there’s about two-thirds of the flock of sheep left to stitch and ALL that grass!
I think I still have 23 leaves left to stitch. I stitched the ones I needed to stitch to give me reference points for other stitching. I’ll probably stitch the blue star next and that will help me find the placement of the flower and the right tree/leaves.
Lots of stitching left to do before this one is finished but getting the church stitched felt like a big accomplishment.

Love this!

That is a huge accomplishment! What is the purpose of the little black doodads? I think I’ll be tempted to leave them off…too much blank space if I do that? It is such a sweet chart! I need to get back to that one…I’ve been stuck on “A Heart Remembers” since Feb 1st. I do love it!

They’re part of the decorations/fillers. There are more of them and once they’re all stitched, I think they’ll be ok. If not, I can rip them out.

That is one pretty church and the robin in the next is so cute.

“next” or maybe “nest” – you know what I meant – my fingers just didn’t type it right. 🙂

I just purchased this pattern and wondered if you changed any flosses? What you have finished so far is so pretty. I love this pattern.

I used the Vikki Clayton silk conversion. My church looks very orange in all the photos but it isn’t. If you click on the Clayton link, the church is the color of the floss on the bottom row, next to the left end. That’s the color it looks in real life on my chart. I need to get under some better light and take a photo.
