This was my Winter Stitching Camp project. This “camp” is an annual challenge by Colorado Cross Stitcher.

This is Kindness Matters by Teresa Miller of Teresa’s Primitive Treasures. This chart was in the Summer, 2020 issue of Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher magazine.
I stitched it on the side of another project and I’m not sure which linen I’m using. I used Victoria Clayton’s silks in the following colors:
- Gold – Oil of Amber 4117
- Dark Brown – Jackalope 5271
- Blue – Steelies 2455
- Green – Pennywort 3445
- Wine – Enchanted Rose 1327
It was a quick little stitch and I love it. It was not difficult, but that didn’t stop me from making a mistake. I thought I had stitched the last “s” on “Kindness” but it wasn’t there so I stitched it, then looked and oops . . there it is on the end of “matters”.

Ripped that last “s” off and finished the stitching and got it done last night.

– The extra S reminds me of when I stitched the year as 2220. Glad it was an easy fix, it is a very pretty piece.

When did you catch that you had stitched it that way? I’m glad I didn’t frame it and then notice.
Tracy says
– Fortunately it was a sampler, so I noticed it a few rows later.

fear is having something completely framed and realizing something is terribly wrong.

I had to laugh….that is so something I would do! Very sweet little finish!
