I did stick with Kindness Matters. I went to bed thinking that’s what I would stitch but until I got a few stitches in, I wasn’t 100% sure I wouldn’t change my mind.
I’m stitching this on the side of This I Know and I’m not 100% sure what count this linen is. I thought it was 40 count and, if it is, I knew this piece would fit to the left of This I Know but if it’s 36 count, it would have been more snug than I’m comfortable with.
I counted the stitches I’ve made across the width of the house and that came out to 42 stitches per inch, which means this is 40 count that shrunk a bit from the dying process.
I had pulled DMC for this but realizing the count is a bit tighter than 40 count, I switched it all over to Vikki Clayton silks.
The next things I’m going to stitch are the stalks and leaves on the flowers. I would love to have those finished by the end of today but that’s a lot of stitching – probably won’t happen.

Love that needle minder! This will be the fastest I ever finish a camp project. Started last night and got it more than half done last night.

I did the same thing. I was almost feeling guilty for having it go along so quickly! Good for us! 🙂
