I know January isn’t quite over yet and I’m not trying to rush it. I will do a January Stitching Report on the 31st.
What I’m going to do between now and February 1 is work on This I Know.
The photo was taken before it was good daylight and the basement lighting — you know . . I complain about it all the time . . it isn’t good! The house is a pretty shade of peach, not as orange as it looks.
I’m close to deciding on my Winter Camp project for Colorado Cross Stitcher. This is a pitiful way to decide what to stitch but, with no empty frames, I have to stitch something that will fit in the extra space of a piece of linen already on a frame. On this one, I can see where the left side of this project ends and there isn’t enough room for what I’m thinking of stitching.
My plan is to stitch up on that left side all the way to the top, even if it’s just sparsely stitched – just to know how much space I will have above this project. I’m pretty sure I can get that done by the 30th, then I’ll have time to decide on a project that will fit up there.

Great example of making do, Judy! Frames are so expensive if you can’t make them yourself. I may look into it, but I love your ingenuity! (and I need to work on my “This I Know!”
