Whew! That was some late night stitching. I did get in the 300 stitches . . why do I do this?? It was 1:30 a.m. when I finished stitching.
And, why didn’t I rotate that picture in the phone because I don’t have a clue how to do it once it’s uploaded.
You can see that I hopped along so I could stitch the bottom row and make sure there’s going to be room and I’m not going to crowd the Strawberry Harvest piece which is stitched below Be Mine.
Also, there’s about 6-1/2″ to the left. I think that will be enough space to add at least one ornament. There may be room to add a second ornament underneath the first ornament. How’s that for making good use of the linen?
The ornaments are 36 stitches wide by 34 stitches tall. The stitched area will be 2″ x 1-7/8″. I will sew those into little pillows or ornaments so there doesn’t need to be much margin in each side.
Still hoping to finish Be Mine by the end of the day on the 26th and get started and maybe get two ornaments made by the end of the month.

you know I’m not fond of pink but I have to say that valentine stitch is looking lovely. The colors look great against that linen color.

Thanks. I had the perfect three pinks. Stitched using the first two, then when I got to the third, which was the lighter pink, it wasn’t showing up so then I had to come up with a lighter pink that would show up and still go with the first two colors. I love choosing my own colors but I don’t love when I’ve already started stitching and have to pick another one to go with those.
