Oscar and Cooper wake up full of energy. I think both of them would sleep later if I would sleep later but most mornings, they wake up when I get up. I take them out, feed them and then they play . . I guess/hope it’s playing because they chase each other and roll around with teeth showing and growling. That goes on for about an hour and then Oscar is ready to give up and take a nap.
He will get up on on the love seat and sleep. Before Cooper, Oscar would curl up at the end of the love seat and I could stitch. Those early morning hours were some of my best stitching time but with Oscar trying to get as close as he can without actually getting on my lap, stitching isn’t easy because the lap stand keeps bonking him on the head.
Yes, I still have on my flamingo pajamas. It was at least an hour before daylight and today may even be a pj day! It’s icy outside, still drizzling and feels like a cold, winter’s day . . though it isn’t terribly cold out there.
Cooper gets tired of playing and he’s ready to get on my lap.
He is so cute but he is so mischievous – especially early in the morning! But once he calms down, he’s ready to get up on the love seat with Oscar and me. Cooper would love to snuggle with Oscar but Oscar isn’t having any of it. If Cooper gets too close, Oscar will get down.
With them sitting here sleeping, that makes me sleepy but I can’t sleep sitting up so . . this is when I have to be really careful or I’d be online shopping while they’re sleeping.
