Yesterday was our pick up for Azure. I think I’ve said before that I don’t usually order for the January and February deliveries because of the weather but they had half gallon jars on sale and I wanted those so I placed an order. Our pickup was scheduled for yesterday at 3:30 p.m. but about Tuesday, we were notified that there was a problem with getting the merchandise out of Oregon so we had a delay and they weren’t sure when it would be delivered. Yesterday we were notified that the truck would be in Carthage at 5:30 p.m.
Neither of us drive after dark so IF the truck got there on time, by the time it was unloaded and we carted our stuff to the car and left, we would be driving well after dark. Vince was calm about it and said he would be fine driving.
He needed to ship something at the UPS store so we left home about 4, went by UPS, then went to Aldi for a few things we needed. When we got to the car, I looked at my phone and the truck was already at the drop location and unloaded at 4:50 p.m. so we went over there, picked up our items and got home just barely before it was dark but . . before dark is good!
The one thing that didn’t ship — the jars I had wanted!

Yes, here is Oregon we had a snow storm and an ice storm. Hundreds bof trees fell also. The ice storm lasted over 3 1/2 days as the temp didn’t rise as fast as they thought.
