Yesterday I was going to stitch the sheep on the hill. You can see his black legs on top of the hill. His called for color is ecru. I stitched about 50 stitches, trying to convince myself that he was going to show up. He did not. I’m going to try B5200 – the bright white, and if that doesn’t work, I’ll have a gray sheep. I had two puppies sleeping on my lap so I decided instead of getting up and going to get the white floss, I’d just go back to working on the house. I did get all the top strawberries finished. 306 stitches yesterday.
I was hoping to have this finished by the 15th but there are still a lot of stitches to be made. I promised Vince I would make banana nut bread today. I need to make more rye bread and dinner . . always something to do!
Tomorrow I have blood work to get done, then a 2 hour meeting in town, then I have to run up past Carthage for eggs so there won’t be much stitching done on Thursday. I guess all that matters is that I get it finished by the end of January!

A grey sheep just means he/she has been out playing in the field and got dirty! 🙂

.I’ve seen a couple lambs from a woman in Texas, and they were both black! I didn’t see any black adults around, and I know one mama was white (gray 😉 )

I did find some online that were shades of gray. I can’t remember the name but I think the bright white is going to show up ok – not great.
