Last night I sat down with several projects that need to be framed. This post is probably more for me than for you because some day, I’m going to have to match frames to stitched pieces!
For First Corinthians:
I chose this frame:
Ellen Carr (you can read more about it here and see the changes I made).
I chose this frame:
For Santa’s Big Bouquet:
I chose this frame and I’m not 100% sure about it. If it works, it’s going to be perfect but if it doesn’t work . . I’ll have to try again.
For Noble Birdseed Banquet:
I chose:
For Cottage Garden:
I chose:
For Peace on Earth:
This is the frame I ordered:
For Merry Christmas:
I’m not sure this is the best frame but I didn’t want gold and I didn’t want black and I was afraid to choose a red frame because the red might not have been the right red so I chose this frame:
Last but definitely not least . . A Sampler for All Seasons. I don’t even see on the blog where I posted a finished picture but it’s been finished for a few months.
Here’s the frame for that one. I wanted something plain – not too much “decoration” so I think this one will be perfect. The frames always look so big in the pictures but this one is only 1-1/4″ wide.
Kinda sad that out of eight pieces, three of them are Christmas, some have been stitched since 2021 and they won’t be ready for this year but . . they’ll be ready for 2024.

Since your blog was down, for the past few days, when I click on your post I get something other than the post you have posted the subject.

Really? That’s weird. I’ll pass this info along. Thanks for letting me know.

What company do you use to buy your frames.

I’ll do a blog post about it.

Great frame choices! I’ll be interested in how you like the one for Santa’s Big Bouquet. I almost ordered one like that in a different color but I just wasn’t sure how it would look in real life. It looks like a really neat finish on it and perfect color for your piece.

I’m anxious to see that one too. That’s the only one I was unsure about but it was worth a chance. I’ll let you know when it gets here.
