As you know, I love making plans and lists. Sometimes I follow those plans and lists and sometimes I don’t so . . take this for what it’s worth – not much I’m sure! 🙂
Most of 2023 I would spend five days working on one project and spend five days working on another project . . and so on.
I have plans with a friend for new starts on the 1st and 15th of every month next year but I think I’m going to choose one of those projects, start it on the 1st, work on it for five days. I have a list of 12 projects that I would like to be “focus” projects. My plan is to pick up whichever one interests me and work on it as long as it interests me – whether that’s a week or from the 6th of the month until the 24th of the month. During that time, I may work one one, two, three or more projects. These are the projects I have pulled to work on during the year. I may add some to this list or I may not.
- 1st Corinthians
- And Be Kind to One Another
- And Heaven & Nature Sing
- Coming to America
- Key to My Heart
- Live on Little
- Mary Ellen Turner
- Mary Gypson
- The Lord’s Prayer
- Three Things Sampler
- Winter Rose Manor
- Thy Love Divine
- For the Love of Nature
Will I get all of these projects finished in 2024? Definitely not. Will I get some of them finished? I hope!
Then, starting on the 25th of the month until the end of the month, I’d like to work on holiday stitching. It can be Valentine’s Day, Easter, Halloween, Christmas or even Fall, Spring, Summer or Winter.
Anyone else making stitching plans for 2024?

-Nothing in writing per se. I did sign up for a BOM cross stitch called Fabulous Houses. I got the first chart of 12, yesterday. I have been working exclusively on Consider the Lillies, but I may have to start the December house. I have three or four other projects kitted up and ready to go for 2024. I wish my quilting habits were as restrained lol.

I wish anything in my life was restrained. 🙂 Consider the Lilies is worth your undivided attention! It’s so pretty. The houses sound cute too.
