I’m still loving my little pasta making machine. It’s the Philips Series 7000 (affiliate link). It’s so quick and so easy to use and cleanup is a breeze. It really takes less than 10 minutes from when I decide to make pasta until I’m putting it in a pot of boiling water.
I was going to make pasta salad and I couldn’t decide if I wanted to use the snowflake die (because I want it to snow!) or the Christmas tree die and, as you can see, I used the Christmas tree die.

I had planned to add some finely ground basil to the pasta when I made Christmas trees so we would have green trees but I was sitting downstairs planning to make something else for dinner and I thought . . pasta salad sounds better and about that time, Vince said “How much longer til we eat? I’m getting hungry!” so I hurried up and made plain pasta.

I pretty much just threw whatever I had on hand in the salad. There’s cucumber, garbanzo beans, black olives, tomatoes, fresh basil, fresh mint, mayo, a bit of sugar, dill pickle juice and some cheese in Vince’s bowl.

The best part . . there are leftovers that we will have today and I’ll add a bit of chopped turkey breast and we’ll have a one dish meal.
