The Jingle Ball starts today and I am excited! This may be as close as I get to attending a stitching retreat. I probably could have left Vince home with one dachshund for a few days but two . . doubtful. That’s ok. I’m not that social any more. I’m pretty happy sitting home in on my stitching sofa loving on Oscar and Cooper. And, stitching retreats (even The Jingle Ball) have too many charts and other things for sale!
If you’re a stitcher and haven’t checked out The Jingle Ball, there’s still time to join. I’m taking two classes – one from Misty with Luminous Fibers on finishing ornaments and one from Beth with Heartstring Samplery on making decorative pins.
I’ve started my ornament for Misty’s class and may have time to finish it before class starts. I’ve purchased my supplies for Beth’s class but, since we can go back and watch the classes later, I’ll probably just watch it live, then go back and actually do the work when I can stop and start the video.
This is the second annual Jingle Ball and I was signed up for it last year but, this time one year ago today, I was either in the ER or knocked out with pain meds thanks to a kidney stone so I totally missed the first Jingle Ball.
So . . if you want to check it out, now’s the time to do it before the fun activities start later this evening.
