For the most part, these two dogs are doing great together. Cooper is doing much better with his bathroom manners. Oscar is either worn out from playing with Cooper or he’s growing up. December 14, he’ll be 2 years old. Whatever the reason, I’m loving the calm, snugly Oscar! These photos were taken last night, but it could have been any night recently.
He sleeps by me every evening while I’m stitching. He takes his naps by me during the day too if I’m sitting. Often I’m not – I’m either in the sewing room or upstairs most of the day.
This little guy . . he’s an energetic puppy but after getting Oscar through the puppy stage, Cooper is very easy to have.
I can’t complain about Cooper having his sweet little head on the lap stand but every time the frame comes down, it bonks him on the head. I have to try to remember to move his head before moving the frame but he promptly puts it back and then I have to remember again.
Then he picked up his bone and with it sitting on the stand and him chewing on it, there’s way too much wiggling for me to be able to stitch. That’s ok . . a happy puppy on my left and a sleeping Oscar on my right . . that’s much better than stitching! I never get enough time with these two when they’re being sweet and I can pet them and love on them.

Cooper’s nose (snout?) has really grown. He is a beauty! And of course I think Oscar is especially handsome!
