Sorry I don’t have a picture but Cooper is so hilarious in the sewing room. He loves “playing” with Boots, though Boots just sits there and glares at him. Occasionally Boots will slap him with his paw. That surprises the heck out of Cooper. He’s used to Oscar biting him or tackling him but Boots sits like a statue and then hauls off and slaps Cooper. Also, when Boots jumps up to a location Cooper can’t reach, Cooper is just amazed and I can almost hear him saying “Why can’t I do that?”
The sewing room is 38′ long and every time Oscar goes in there, he runs the length of it, back and forth, about 5 times, then collapses for about 5 minutes and is up and ready to play. When he gets crazy and won’t calm down, Vince will say “Take him to the sewing room to run off his energy!”
Oscar, on the other hand, is looking for food when he goes in the sewing room. Boots’ food bowl sits on the bottom shelf of one of those wire racks. Either I drop a few morsels when feeding him or he’s a messy eater but there are always pieces of food under there. I try to vacuum them all up every day so critters don’t show up in there for a feast.
Oscar an Cooper will come into the sewing room with me when I’m doing something in there that doesn’t require my full attention. I have to keep an eye on those two.
Yesterday I went in there to sit and stitch and let them come in with me for probably half an hour. I wasn’t getting much stitching done so I put them back in the family room with Vince and I sat in there with Boots.
He was happy to sit there with me and he sits quietly – not constantly trying to get my scissors or get my floss or attack the other dog running by. I got so much more done in a couple of hours of stitching with Boots vs. stitching with the dachshunds.

Today was the first day I got notification that there was new posts – I “re-subscribed” the other day thinking somehow or other I got unsubscribed, LOL. Do still have to log in or leave my name and e-mail to comment. It’s always strange when websites make changes behind the scenes and we all get confused, LOL.

I don’t know what’s going on but I’m glad you’re getting the notifications again. Sorry about having to sign in every time to leave a comment but thanks for doing it.
