I’m having a lot of fun with making pasta! Yesterday Vince and I went and had our Thanksgiving lunch at the hospital cafeteria. We had turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans and a choice of pumpkin or pecan pie. I chose pecan and Vince chose pumpkin. We’ll have our Thanksgiving meal tomorrow with Chad, Nicole and Addie.
Yesterday morning I wanted to get another canner full of potatoes processed so I got that going early and while they were canning, I made two batches of pasta. One was made using the penne die and one was made using the lasagna die.
Today I will make something using the penne pasta and Sunday, I’ll make lasagna.
The new dies may arrive today and if so . . what fun I will have!
I do have to get some food prep done for tomorrow and I do have to get some house cleaning done . . can’t play with pasta all the time!

How can you make it and save it for later day to cook….
judy.blog@gmail.com says
I can flash freeze it, vacuum seal it and freeze it or keep it in the fridge for a couple of days.

I was wondering that myself, can you vacuum seal it and use it whenever?

I wouldn’t try to vacuum seal it – it would crush it if it wasn’t already frozen. Once it’s no longer my favorite toy, I won’t be making pastas much and will probably make as needed.

What brand is the pasta machine/maker, or is it a KA attachment? I normally make all of our pastas. Or is it an extruder? Nosey, aren’t I???
judy.blog@gmail.com says
It’s an extruder type – the Philips 7000. No, you aren’t nosey!!
