Thanksgiving and Christmas are kinda tied for my favorite holidays. There’s so much I love about Thanksgiving. For the past few years, I’ve gone back through my “Thankful Journal” and read all the entries for the year. Tomorrow . . I start a new journal. They go from the day after Thanksgiving until the next Thanksgiving. Keeping a journal reminds me to be thankful for large things and for small things.
I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving Day and have many things to be thankful for.
Today, as I’ve mentioned already, Chad, Nicole and Addie are having Thanksgiving with Nicole’s family. I told Vince I don’t want to cook anything Thanksgiving related . . I want to do that all on Saturday when Chad and his family are here. The hospital cafeteria is open and serving Thanksgiving food so we’ll probably run over there and eat.
I think I will can one canner of potatoes, probably after we get home from eating. Home canned foods show up on my thankful list several times during the year. 🙂
Maybe I’ll get a little Thanksgiving stitching done today.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Mine was a quiet one, most enjoyable.

Thank you. It was pretty quiet here too.
