One of my friends has a ton of Tula Pink fabric and I’ve told her several times that I had none. In my quilting days, I most used tone on tone fabric – very few prints, maybe a small dot but mostly fabrics that read solid so Tula Pink fabric was not something I would have worked with at all.
I know . . it’s been three years since we moved the first load of stuff but there are still lots of boxes. I’ve been trying to unpack a few every day but the problem is . . there’s no place to put things. Yes, another problem that’s my own fault.
This morning I opened a box that had mostly cones of thread but a few pieces of fabric. I really wasn’t even sure what Tula Pink fabric looked like but when I saw this piece, I thought . . I bet that’s Tula Pink!
2.5 yards! I’m thinking I must have bought that for a bag?? Surely not a quilt backing. I have no idea. It was in the box without any pattern. If I bought it for a bag, there may be another piece of Tula Pink somewhere because I remember buying fabric to make two bags. What was I thinking??

I love Tula! And this line of hers was amazing! I have used it to make a friend some bags too. Lucky find!

Got a friend who sold a lot of her Tula fabric and got $100’s for as little as a fat quarter for some of the older prints!
