I’ve always loved Blue Bell ice cream or, as long as I remember. I think when I was a child, we didn’t have Blue Bell in Louisiana. Maybe we just couldn’t afford it. I don’t know but in my adult years, I have been a devoted buyer of Blue Bell.
Chad grew up loving Blue Bell. In Kentucky, we couldn’t get it. I wrote them numerous times begging them to include our area in their routes. I hadn’t been gone a year when a friend wrote me and said “Guess what’s in our grocery stores!” WHAT?
With Chad being a Blue Bell lover, Addie is too and they’re always on the watch for new flavors.
Aldi in Texas had Blue Bell but not here. Our local smaller Walmart doesn’t have the best selection of Blue Bell but the larger Walmarts usually have a better selection. But, the stores in Louisiana always have flavors we can’t get. There’s a flavor that Chad and Nicole get when they’re in Louisiana for Spring Break – Creole Cream Cheese. I think it’s only sold in Louisiana and maybe the Mississippi Delta region. I’ve never had that flavor and Nicole raves about it.
Some of you may already know this but they have James Avery Blue Bell charm, which I think is adorable but I’m not into jewelry and, at $88, that’s a little more than I’m going to spend for her.
They do have a Christmas Cookies glass ornament, which is so cute. It’s $17.99 plus shipping so I ordered one for Addie. I should have ordered one for me too but I’m not going to order it now and pay shipping twice.
So, if you have a Blue Bell ice cream lover on your gift list, these items are both perfect!

I wish we could get Blue Bell ice cream where I live! I’ve had it when I’ve been in Texas and other southern states, so I know just how good it is.

We were able to get that in Louisiana and now it’s here. I do like it but there are other flavors I like better.
