This morning I hit the deck running. I made rye bread and plain white bread, then I made pumpkin muffins, fixed breakfast, then . . just regular household chores. I knew that by 5 p.m., I’d be stitching and should be able to stitch til bed time. Nope . . my little buddies intervened.
Several times during the day, I would sit downstairs and let them play. They play really hard and Cooper was ready for a nice, long nap when I got downstairs to start stitching. He wanted to sleep next to me and I wasn’t going to say no to a puppy in the mood to snuggle.
If Cooper was going to sleep next to me, Oscar wanted to sleep next to me also. They slept like that for a couple of hours. If I had put the lap frame across my lap, it would have bonked both of them on the heads, often, so I just sat and loved on them both while they were sleeping. Love those nice, calm visits from my babies.

Oscar looks like he’s smiling! They are both so cute!

Just like children, they are all angels when they are sleeping!

So right! The minute their little eyes pop open, the angel is gone.

You need to keep a small project close to hand – that you can stitch in hand and still cuddle and love on them!

I can’t stitch in hand at all because of carpal tunnel.
