I enjoy watching Joe & Nic’s Road Trip on Youtube. I was clicking through youtube a minute ago and found one entitled Forgotten MISSOURI: Towns with Unique History and Incredible Architecture.
Here are some scenes I find interesting:
19:37 – coming up on Bam-Boo Garden restaurant, the Chinese restaurant Vince loves
19:55 – to the right – Boots’ Court, the old motel that I love! I love that there’s a radio in every room! 🙂 It had been closed for a while but has been renovated and is open again. What a nice guy there!
24:51 – The Carthage Square and Courthouse. I love this town! We were just at the courthouse yesterday. Isn’t that a gorgeous courthouse? You should see the flower ports right at the bottom of those steps. They are so pretty! That limestone he’s talking about is what we hit when we dig about 2″ down into the dirt . . the reason for all raised beds for gardening.
38:00 – The Bonnie & Clyde Garage apartment in Joplin.
Mostly it was interesting to me because we live here but I thought it was worth sharing. Hope you think so too. 🙂

Pat and I watched this when it first came out and we really enjoyed it! I loved seeing the things that were there. Pat followed this guy and his wife every week. Thank you for reminding me of this! Pray you and Vince are doing well, Love your new pup and enjoy seeing them playing all the time. God bless you all, we all still miss you!

My husband, Jerry, and I watched this. It was wonderful and brought back memories of living for a short while as a child in Joplin and visiting in Carthage. Watched all of Missouri. He also lived in Independence, Kansas and born in Enid, Oklahoma. Hope to watch more of their travels! Thanks for posting!

We’ve enjoyed watching a lot of them too but I don’t think we’ve seen nearly all of them.

I’m going to add that to my watch list, sounds interesting. We visited Springfield and Table Rock Lake this fall and fell in love with the area. We grew up in Odessa TX and have been in nw NM since 1985 and it was so different and green and beautiful. That area skyrocketed to the top of our retirement list in the next 5 years.
