Thanks for the responses about Oscar and Cooper. In the mornings and mostly through the day, they play well together . . rough but no serious growling or snapping. In the evenings, they scare me. I think/hope Oscar is all bark and no bite and just doesn’t want to deal with Cooper and is trying to sound tough but I’m not risking it so we keep them apart in the evenings. I do believe that once Cooper’s teeth aren’t so sharp and painful and once he slows down in the evenings . . probably 16 or 18 months from now . . things won’t be so testy with Oscar. Overall, Oscar has done way, way better than I was expecting so I shouldn’t complain or get upset.
Here’s a short video of them “playing” this morning. I apologize for screaming OSCAR, OSCAR into the phone but I was seeing teeth and he was starting to get rough. I think I said yesterday that I’ve never heard Cooper yelp but he hurts Oscar several times a day and Oscar yelps.
Oscar is much bigger but Cooper can stand his own and he does not back down. In fact, Cooper is definitely the aggressor most of the time.
Anyway, there’s just a glimpse of what they do most all the time if they’re awake.

I didn’t have time earlier to write whether or not I thought you made a mistake getting Cooper. I definitely think you made the RIGHT thing, both dogs as well as you and Vince will be happier and more relaxed with both of them!
Like you said, once those puppy teeth are gone, Oscar should have less pain when they play.
Thanks for posting the video of them playing.
Our Sunny had her first experience with snow today. We got about 2 1/2 inches—and once she wasn’t afraid, she loved it. I posted a short video on Facebook.

How fun! Oscar doesn’t mind the snow but, based on Cooper’s feelings towards rain, I’m not sure he’s going to be happy with snow. Thanks for your thoughts!
