I am pretty happy with yesterday’s progress. I wasn’t happy that Cooper woke up at 3 a.m. and wanted to go outside. I got up, took him out, then I couldn’t go back to sleep so I started stitching. I did take a nap for about an hour later in the morning.
It’s still dark and the colors aren’t right. The bat is really a purple-ish dark gray. He looks blue. I got Aviation Institute stitched, finished the broom handle above the “N”. There’s still more to stitch below the “N”. I got the moon started. Stitched up to where the bat starts.
I just now see that little branch going off the left side of the broom handle. I’ll add that before I finish stitching the moon.
My plans for today are to stitch the bat and the rest of the moon, stitch the “EST. 1692” and if I could finish the bottom of the broom and the stars at the bottom, I’d be finished. But, if not, I’ll finish it tomorrow.

Looks good!
About stitching projects for a season, if you continue with the 5-day for a project, why don’t you plan for one spot to be for “holiday/seasonal” small projects. Don’t decide which projects to work on, just have a basket of the small projects.

Great idea. Maybe whatever week has the 25th in it, that would be my Christmas stitching week. Thanks for the idea.

Got my “Flying lessons” done today! The broom isn’t too bad if you do the darker stitches first and then sort of fill in the lighter and the ones that stick out!. Finishing up “Tomato Row and then going to start Winter Rose Manor! Hope you get yours finished soon!

I doubt I finish it tonight but I’m still hoping. Congrats on getting yours finished. Winter Rose Manor is one I want to get back to stitching too.
