I’m happy with what I got done on this project. In five days, I had two zoom meetings that were each close to two hours, and we were gone most of yesterday. Can’t stitch all the time, right?
I had the lofty idea that I would get all the way through the large alphabet. Nope . . not even close. I still have to stitch a dog to the right of the motif above the v and w. There’s a duck or goose (not looking at the chart) above the r and s. A reader suggested adding a second dog and making them the color of Cooper and Oscar. If I stitch a dog above the r and s, it will have to be smaller than the one above the v and w but that’s ok . . because Cooper is smaller than Oscar. To the right of the z, I still have to stitch 1 – 0 and there are four more starts to the right of the one I stitched. So, even though I got down to the A – D, there’s still a lot of stitching to go back and do.
Next time I pick this up, I hope to finish the larger upper case alphabet I’ve started, the house and if there’s time, I’ll fill in the parts I still need to stitch on the top part.
I had talked about stitching an extra day on this but I’m ready to move on. I have Winter Rose Manor listed as the scheduled project to start today but this week I saw a finished project on a flosstube this week and I have the project started but barely. I may get that out and work on it the next five days. Or, I may work on Winter Rose Manor. 🙂
