Remember my “bribe” with Addie? I told her she had to use at least five words in a text to me. Kids! She used it against me last night.
I’m usually the one sending her paragraphs and paragraphs and she’ll text back “Ya” or “No”.
She sent me a drawing she had drawn on their back door. Hopefully they haven’t had the word “monkey” yet on spelling! 🙂
It was cute though . . she had a friend over to practice spelling words. Those are double doors leading out back. Nicole was calling out spelling words. The friend was writing on one door and Addie was writing on the other.

That’s a fun way to practice spelling. Kudos to Nicole!

Isn’t that a neat idea . . especially with the two of them doing it together.

Kids will remember and get you every time! LOL Maybe Nicole should make “monkey” one of their spelling words. When I was in 7th/8th grade I was a cheerleader. One of our cheers was “S-U-C-C-E-S-S! That’s the way you spell success!” “Success” was on our spelling list one week. I remember thinking it would be really bad if any the cheerleaders missed that one.
