Was it just this morning that I wrote that he’s growing up and maybe calming down? I take that bake.
You may remember that we have a sofa downstairs and it isn’t against a wall. When Oscar first started getting up on the back of the sofa, we stacked boxes and storage ottomans on the sofa so he couldn’t get up on the sofa and then jump onto the back. Later when I had hope that he was calming down, I removed all the unsightly boxes and ottomans from the sofa. Within 24 hours, he ran, took a flying leap up onto the sofa and onto the back of the sofa and kept sailing . . over the back of the sofa and onto the tile floor. Scared me half to death. He was fine but the boxes and storage ottomans went back onto the sofa and it’s all still there.
On the other side of the room is the love seat where I sit to stitch, then Vince’s chair and Vince has an end table next to his chair because he plays games on the computer and uses a mouse.
This evening Oscar was sitting next to me on the love seat, something caught his attention. He went flying across the space between the love seat and Vince’s chair, landed on Vince’s chair and kept flying . . across the end table and slid right off onto the tile floor. He seems fine but now I’ve stacked up more storage ottomans between the love seat and the chair. Hopefully that will stop him from getting a running start and sliding off the table.
I guess the other option is to get rid of all the furniture, get a few folding lawn chairs that we can fold up and stick in the closet when there’s not a body in them.
Crazy little dog!

The little cutie! We have a leeping lizard at our house too, only he is jumbo size. Love hearing about sweet little Oscar.
