I suppose NOT thinking is what happened.
My friend, Pat, and I had planned to start Forever and Ever by Brenda Gervais on September 1. I even looked up the chart and put a link in a previous post.
Last night Pat sent me an email and said “Are you sure you’re working on Forever and Ever because yours doesn’t look like mine?” No, I am NOT working on Forever and Ever. I also had Rejoice Evermore, also by Brenda Gervais, started and was didn’t even think about that not being the chart I should be working on.
Two days of a little work. I stitched the horizontal line under the flowers, started the second horizontal line, stitched the left vertical line to the bottom and started the horizontal line above the bottom line. I was working to get that next to bottom horizontal line stitched and hoping to start the house today but nope, I’m putting it away and will be working on the correct project.
This one was started in March, 22. Time to get it finished, which one happen this month but hopefully before the end of the year.
When I started this one, I was still stitching in hand, which I can’t do any more because of pain in my left hand so I had to get it in a frame. Got that done and got the frame labeled, which you would think should help me avoid this kind of mix up again but probably not because I was 100% sure I was working on the right project and probably wouldn’t have even checked.
As I pick up each older project on a frame, I label the frame. I should probably stop and label every frame but more importantly, I should check and double check I’m picking up the right project.
