My friend, Pat, and I have projects that we both start on the 1st and 15th of each month. I actually start mine on the 1st and 16th because of my five day rotation.
Our first of the month start is Forever and Ever by Brenda Gervais and our 15th of the month start is Be A Friend by Needlework Press.
I had actually already started Forever and Ever. Here’s where I am on that one.
The above photo is upside down I think. I’m pretty sure I started at the top but before I start stitching, I’ll make sure.
I had mentioned the other day that Denise and I were starting Coming to America. I got started on the border, worked my way down to the “sea”. The waves are stitched, the bottom row of the sea is almost finished. I can go in and mindlessly stitch the remainder of the sea. I’ve also started the outline of the “Cape Cod” box that’s stitched under the sea. The seagull at the top (that you probably can’t even see) has to be ripped out and I’ll re-stitch it with a color that shows up better. It’s a good start.
This is my stitching plan for September. Let’s see if I stick with it and let’s hope I get a LOT of stitching done!

Wish you were a lot closer to me! We went to San Angelo Wednesday. The Yarn Junkie shop is closing and it was the last day. Everything was 75% off!! I got some beautiful yarn that I can not get locally! She had at least 6 or 7 tall racks of needlepoint/cross stitch floss!! It was all 75% off!! No one was going to those racks! She also had some cross stitch canvas and several of the frames you use to stretch the yarn while you are stitching! Two ladies owned it and they were both leaving either yesterday or tomorrow for vacation! The woman is going to stash all of it in her garage!! Don’t know if she will be selling it from there or not, If I find out, I will let you know.
