Moons of 22 by Kathy Barrick is a chart I saw about the middle or end of 2022.
I knew I wouldn’t get it stitched before the end of 2022 but Kathy Barrick said she would release charts for future years as long as she’s alive. I think it came with the 2023 chart or maybe that was available on request. I was determined to stitch this for 2024. The 2024 chart is available so I got that but then I started thinking . . this might be a fun thing to do for the year Addie was born and give it to her later. Do you think she would ever appreciate something like that? Maybe I’ll stitch 2024 for us and if she seems interested in the different moons, I’d stitch one for her.
I was able to find a list for 2012 moons but . . there are 13 of them. I sent Kathy Barrick an email asking what I should do in the case of 13 moons and she was so gracious to respond quickly. She said the same thing happened with 2023 and she used the first one only.
I’m going to get started on the top of the chart and once that’s done, I’ll decide if I want to stitch two of these. If I decide to only stitch one, I’ll have to decide if I want to do it for 2024 or for Addie’s birth year. Decisions! Decisions! Who knew cross stitching would be so difficult? 🙂 Seriously, it isn’t difficult at all . . it’s all so very fun.

Can you make your photos so they can be enlarged? Old eyes are frustrating!

I don’t know. I’ll see what I can do. If I can’t, are you able to do control and + to enlarge your screen?
EDIT: In future posts, you should be able to click on photos and be taken to a new page with a larger photo.

Stitch the moon chart for your granddaughter. It’s a big chart and you’ll burn out trying to do two of them. Stitch it and enjoy it at your home, then gift it to her when appropriate.
