I had taken three gallon size zipper bags of tomatoes, which was right at 15 pounds, out of the freezer to make room for elderberries so yesterday I started cooking those down, then this morning I finished the process, got them in jars and canned.
I ended up with 10 pints. A pint is plenty for probably two meals for Vince. When we have spaghetti, I’ll make meatballs and I’ll eat a couple of meatballs with the pasta and Vince can have all the sauce.
I need to move that bottle of bourbon off the basement counter. It was in with the booze I pulled out to make vanilla extract but, not sure if you can see it or not, it has Vince’s name on the bottle and I figured we should save that but it doesn’t need to stay on the counter. I just told Vince . . you need to put that bottle somewhere safe.

I guess that means it isn’t an ingredient in your tomato canning. LOL

No. That was brought inside with the other alcohol I was using to make vanilla and I set it aside so I wouldn’t use it and . . there it sits.
