Vince loves going to the pallet store. He loves finding bargains. I think everything is $5 on Monday and there’s still a good bit of merchandise left so that’s the day he prefers to go. I have no idea what all he bought but he did show me the things he bought for me.
He found 12 – 5 gallon grow bags that are $20 at Amazon for $5. This is the size I grow peppers in. Everything I grow is either in grow bags or in one of our raised beds so there are a lot of grow bags. This is the perfect size for growing peppers. This year (and all years), I plant a lot of peppers and I had to put some in 3 gallon bags because I ran out of 5 gallon bags.
He got four pouring lids for wide mouth jars. I love these. I mix up frozen juice concentrate in the half gallon jars, then once enough is used that it will fit in quart jars, I pour it into the smaller jar and these lids are so nice.
He found a set of two rustic looking wood frames that are about $15 for the set at Amazon. They’ll come in handy for something I’m stitching.
He got this set of frames. They’re plastic but still pretty easy to paint if I want them to be a different color. I like using these type frames for seasonal things that don’t stay out long or even for pictures of Oscar on my dachshund wall.
He found other things for himself. You never know what he’s going to bring home. He’s having fun. He’s doing what he loves to do and I was able to stay home and do what I loved to do so it’s a win/win.

We are supposed to be getting a WOW store here. I’m hoping to do as well as Vince does when they open.

I don’t enjoy shopping but I certainly don’t enjoy digging through stuff that has been opened, or just piled in bins but there are some bargains to be found.
