Today I finished the Cranberry Ketchup that I started yesterday. Every Thanksgiving, or after Thanksgiving, when cranberries are often on sale, we stock up for the freezer. There are several things I love to make that use cranberries so having them in the freezer is great.
The recipe is in the Ball Complete Book of Home Preserving. It calls for 11 cups of frozen or fresh cranberries. It only took a little over three bags to equal 11 cups.
I ended up with 12 half pints and one quarter pint. I kept the quarter pint out and didn’t can it because we had turkey deli meat in the fridge and I had to try it.
It was delicious. There are other things I want to make with the cranberries but I really want to make more of this Cranberry Ketchup!

I’ve never tried freezing it but you might google “cranberry ketchup recipe to freeze” and see what you get. It’s water bath canned so it would be very easy to can if you’re willing to try it.
