I was shocked to see that the red floss I ordered from 123 Stitch on July 27 arrived today, July 29. I usually count on five business days to get a package from them. I am not complaining . . good job USPS!
There are the colors I ordered. I think the three on the right are a little more orange than I want to use, at least for the big house.
Here’s what they all look like on the actual fabric.
I think 2646 is what I will use for the big house. I’m hoping to leave the door and the flowers in the bright red so I may use one of the other reds for whatever other red stitching is left . . if there is any. That way I’ll have three different reds so maybe it won’t look so weird with the bright red. I know . . I should rip it all out and re-stitch it and I may but I’m going to see what it looks like with three reds before ripping.

I have never used the type of thread you received..DMC girl here..what’s the difference. I am only just getting back into cross stitching and have tons of threads from when I began stitching in late 70’s.

I actually like the bright red for the door on the house. It looks cheerful and welcoming.

Unlike Pat, I don’t like the red door. LOL It seems off color, but I DO like the 2646. Best of luck with the stitching and your choices.
