My guess is that you’ve all seen all the little stitching cases stitchers are making. I wasn’t terribly interested in them . . mainly because I never go anywhere to show them off. Stitchers who go to retreats all seem to want the cutest and newest items but, staying home and stitching . . a ziplock bag or a plastic meshy zipper bag from Amazon usually is sufficient for me.
But, today I was watching the latest video from Sheri at Colorado Cross Stitcher. Her guest was Tanya from The Scarlett House, whose charts I love. A Changed World that I’m working on now is her chart. A Sampler for All Seasons is one of her charts and will be released in August!
Tanya has decorated/customized several of the little jewelry cases to make them into stitching cases and in the video with Sheri, Tanya showed how she does them and there are links in the show notes for all the things Tanya uses. There’s no sewing!!
Yes, there are a few cases coming to me. There are other places that carry the small cases and I found a pink one for Addie. Not sure how I’ll decorate it but she has a birthday coming up and this may be a fun project – just have to figure out how to decorate it. Maybe I should have ordered a red one or a black one and decorate it for her school colors.
I thought it was a fun, inspiring video.
