My trip this month kinda got my five day rotation plan mixed up. There was so much catching up to do after I got home, there hasn’t been much cross stitching time. Yesterday I finally had time to settle down and stitch for several hours. I’m still working on A Changed World. Depending on how much I get done with stitching and how much canning there still is to do, I may just finish out the month of July working on this one or I may start something different on July 26. No matter what I decide to do in July, I’ll get back on my 5 day rotation plan on August 1.
I have a new start scheduled with a friend on August 1 and August 15 (which will really happen on August 16). We have new starts scheduled for the 1st and 15th of each money but all mine will be on the 1st and 16th so on the 6th, 11th, 21st, and 26th, I can start on other projects.
What I’ve decided to do is to choose four WIPs that will be what I work on for five days starting the 6th, 11th, 21st and 26th of each month through the end of 2023. Unless something changes (and we all know it probably will!), I’ll work on these four projects each month to hopefully get some of them finished.
Kristie at Cross Hatch Quilts showed her finished Jane Tindall project in this video. NOTE: Look at the video and see Kristie’s finish before you look at the chart link. The cover on the chart doesn’t do this project justice!
That is a chart I have started and have probably less than 100 stitches on it. It’s much larger than I prefer to stitch but after seeing Kristie’s, I’m going to get back to it but I have to finish others first. I’ve told myself I have to finish 10 projects before I can get back to Jane Tindall.
Kristie said it took her about 1-1/2 months start to finish to get Jane Tindall stitched. Good grief . . it will take me 1-1/2 years! But, I figured if Kristie can stitch that chart in 1-1/2 months, I can surely get 10 projects finished soon . . I’m not even setting a date but it will not be during 2023. I’m hoping to get a few finished before the end of the year but note all 10 of them before the end of the year.
It really is hard to believe we’re almost at the end of July!
