I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned 5 Seed Crackers on here before but after yesterday’s unhealthy food post, and needing to bake these again today, I thought I’m bring it up again. These crackers are so easy to make and so easy to store.

All of my seeds are stored in vacuum sealed jars downstairs where it stays cooler. This morning I dumped the needed seeds into a clean jar and brought them upstairs, along with rosemary and a cayenne pepper from the garden. Other than water and a bit of salt, that’s all it takes.

There they are – all done and ready! The piece below is one from a jar from a batch I made a while back.

Once the crackers are cool, I break them into pieces and place them in wide mouth quart jars and then vacuum seal them. These that are about a month old taste just as good as the ones I made this morning.

Interesting concept. Wish I could try it, but definitely on my no-no list. So many things are.
