Monday night at almost bed time, Addie decided it was a good time to pull a loose tooth. She worked and worked and finally got it out.
She was so happy to get that tooth out and under her pillow. I was a bit concerned about the tooth fairy remembering . . we were both so tired. I woke up early and noticed Nicole stirring a bit and asked her if she had taken care of it and she had.
Addie has another loose tooth and I’m betting it comes out in the car before this trip is over.
That girl is growing up way too quickly. Seeing a picture of her . . seems like she should be way younger than she is . . but she isn’t.

That’s the biggest problem with having kids… they grow up way too fast!!

She is definitely her Mom’s mini-me! It’s amazing how fast they grow up.

It’s amazing how fast she is maturing. The whole little cute baby girl is gone and young woman is coming in to take her place. I see that with my 11-yo granddaughter, too. She is looking SO much like her mother sometimes, that when we are quilting together, I have to look at her twice! She’s about as tall as I am, too, and turning into an amazing quilter.
She hasn’t mastered cutting yet, but she’s even been making prairie points, sewing seams that she doesn’t twist or turn, and generally improving in all her stitching. I bet Addie is doing some of the same things!

Addie has no interest in sewing or needlework. I wish she did and keep hoping that maybe some day she will. So nice that your granddaughter will sew with you.
