On June 11, I started working on Three Things Sampler. Here’s where it was when I started it:
Here’s where it stands after five days.
The more I work on this piece, the more i love it. The photos don’t show how beautiful the colors are.
I feel like I got a good bit of stitching done, even though I had two big canning projects going on during those five days.
Once I get my morning chores done, I’ll decide which project I’ll be working on next. I think I know what it is but that’s all going to depend on whether the new stitching stand/frame arrives today. If not, I may have to stitch on something that’s already on a frame.

Your work is so much prettier than the cover photo for the chart. Love the colors. What fabric are you using? I need to get mine out and kit it up!

I think it is too. The cover doesn’t do it justice. I had never looked at any finished photos and that’s when I was thinking about leaving some of it out. Then I saw a bunch of them on Instagram and I love those and that has me second guessing my plans for leaving part of it out.

I’m going to try to do the whole thing and not worry about how long it takes. I think that’s how I got so many WIPS haha. Always something new to tempt me. I ordered Vikki Clayton’s silks for this last night, I hope they are as pretty as the DMC. They sure are nice to stitch with.

I think they will be prettier than the cottons. Love her silks. When I start working on a project at the beginning of my five day cycle, I tell myself I’m going to work on this til it’s finished, then by about day 4, I’m so anxious to get through day 5 and pick up another project. This may not be the way I stitch forever but for now, it seems best, but I surely would love to finish a few things.
Good luck with sticking with it til it’s finished. And, I agree . . all those new projects is how I ended up with so many WIPS.
